ANNA L. SPANTON
CEO, Co-Founder
In 2021, Anna founded Spanton Board to bring her and her late father’s innovative designs for a sports injury board to market. As the driving force behind the company, she has been deeply involved in every aspect of its growth, from collaborating with engineers on product development to navigating the complex regulatory landscapes. Anna’s visionary approach includes strategic outreach, where she has forged key partnerships with leaders in professional sports, emergency medicine, and healthcare, positioning the Spanton Board for widespread adoption and long-term success.
JOHN M. SPANTON
Vice President, Co-Founder, Chief of Sales
From the beginning, John worked with his father on the Spanton Board concept. He has a wealth of knowledge of the company’s early design, its engineering and testing phases. John’s professional history is highlighted by diverse, cross-industry experience in sales and marketing, and business operations. He leads our sales strategy, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
NICHOLAS J. OSBORNE
Chief of Operations
Nick is a former Coast Guard intelligence officer and Department of Veterans Affairs employee. He has worked with military populations for over 15 years and understands the culture, training, and safety requirements necessary for maintaining a capable and operational force. He also brings experience in grant writing, health sciences research and administrative leadership, having directed a $14M university-based veterans center. He holds a doctorate from the University of California at Davis.
